Recent history of Holmenkollen
Oslo has a new landmark, a reconstructed Holmenkollen Ski Jump, after years of planning and expense. Here’s a brief recap of Holmenkollen’s recent history.

It now will be used as a warm-up room for skiers at the smaller jumps. PHOTO: Morten Møst Construction of the new ski jump has taken place at record pace.
