Birthday-boy Haakon

Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon celebrated his 37th birthday on Tuesday, July 20, and photographers were called in for a traditional “photo op” session.
Haakon spent the day with his immediate family at the new summer home they’re renting on an island off Kristiansand, Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s home town.
She had just returned from a three-day trip to Vienna, where she attended an international HIV/AIDS conference.
She flew home in time to spend her husband’s birthday with him, their two children, Prince Sverre Magnus and Princess Ingrid Alexandra and their dog Mille Kakao.
