How parties target voters’ sweet tooth

Gearing up for the local elections campaign, many of Norway’s political parties target the voters’ sweet tooth, handing out politically flavored candy on the streets. Others hope to put traditional buttons on people’s chests. Hover your mouse above a photo to see a caption and use the arrows to navigate the photo series.

  1. The Liberal party and its key player in Oslo, Ola Elvestuen, has opted for hard, crunchy candy in eco color.
  2. Soft caramels in cheerful yellow paper are Kr.F\'s bet in the battle for the voters\' sweet tooth.
  3. The Socialist Left goes for sticky candy in appropriate red wrapping with a hint of green.
  4. The far left has Rødt takes a conservative approach, with traditional buttons displaying a one-word message.
  5. The conservatives go for face buttons. In Oslo mayor Fabian Stang is the obvious choice.
