12-year-old wins EuroVision Junior

Kulseng’s song, which she wrote herself, was called Du gjør mæ så glad (You make me so happy). She wrote it in honour of her best friend Vilde. It made her one of 10 finalists in the contest, chosen by state broadcaster NRK out of 700 entries from around the country.

NRK aired the competition live from the Oslo Spektrum Arena over the weekend and now Thea has to decide whether she wants to be a pop singer or a professional football player. As newspaper Aftenposten wrote on Monday, her football career may need to wait.
