We’ve spent the past two years building up Views and News from Norway – www.newsinenglish.no, with Norwegian news in English for thousands of readers both in Norway and abroad. Now we’d like to attract more advertisers here in Norway who are keen on reaching an international market.

We’re looking for a sales consultant who’s as enthusiastic as we are about sharing Norway’s news with the rest of the world, and the potential our niche market has for Norwegian advertisers. The successful candidate will have solid experience in selling advertising for news media in the Norwegian market, strong communications skills in Norwegian and English, and have good contacts within such branches as travel, banking, sports, entertainment and the makers of uniquely Norwegian products.

He or she should be able to communicate the advantage Norwegian businesses can gain by recognizing the value of the ever-growing expatriate market here in Norway. We also reach the heritage market made up of Norwegian descendants living abroad, as well as those interested in following events in Norway for professional reasons. Many of them travel frequently to Norway, on business or for pleasure. We’re looking for someone who can develop our business of reaching those who can’t understand Norwegian but who want to keep up with the Norwegians.
