Norwegians don’t seem daunted by the recent troubles surrounding Toyota. The Japanese carmaker still ranks high on the list of those having the “most satisfied customers” in Norway.
Newspaper Dagens Næringsliv (DN) reported the results of an annual “Norwegian customer barometer” and noted that Toyota earned a score of 83.6, putting it well into the ranks of customers who were “extremely satisfied” with the company’s product and service. Only BMW ranked higher among car dealers, with a score of 83.7.
The Meny grocery store chain ranked highest among food retailers, while Radisson was the most popular hotel chain in Norway. The venerable Dressman men’s clothing chain ranked highest in the apparel business.
The survey of customer satisfaction included banks (Skandiabanken ranked highest), real estate brokers (Eiendomsmegler1 scored best), mobile telephone providers (Tele2 was best) and even fast-food chains (Burger King was best, but with a score of just 61.7).
