Pop-star Justin Bieber recovered from two days of holding concerts in Oslo by heading up to the mountains around Stryn. His local host said he swam in Oppstrynsvatnet, went boating and ATV-riding and sat by a campfire as the sun went down.
“When Bieber woke up here and looked out the window, he was overwhelmed,” claimed John Olav Lefdal, who told state broadcaster NRK that he was Bieber’s host when the Canadian superstar tried to relax after his concerts.
After driving through the night, Bieber started the day by eating breakfast at the Stryn Vertshus. Then he headed for the Hjelle Hotell, after word got out that he was in Stryn and fans started swarming around the Vertshus.
Lefdal, a yacht broker who has hosted many other celebrities in Norway, said the idea was to give Bieber some “private life, and let him experience some peace and quiet.” He reportedly got it at the hotel before flying on to Finland and more concerts there, after performing before thousands Friday and Saturday at the Telenor Arena at Fornebu.
