A 40-year-old man faced a custody hearing on Monday after he broke into the home of a family in Trondheim Friday evening and was discovered by its occupants, stark naked.
Police said the man was naked when he was discovered by one of the residents of the home around 11pm. It’s feared he may have assaulted two children aged six and nine who were asleep in the home at the time.
The six-year-old was thus questioned by police over the weekend. The man himself, who has a police record, claimed he was under the influence of narcotics during the break-in.
“The police investigation is concentrating on finding out what the man did in the house,” Heidi Melø of the Sør-Trøndelag Police District told news bureau NTB. “We choose, out of consideration to the family, not to go into detail about what the suspect has said.”
