Arctic news website relaunches a Russian edition

The Independent Barents Observer, Norway’s newssite that focuses on Arctic news, has relaunched a Russian edition. Editor Thomas Nilsen said that providing unbiased news for Russian readers is “a core part of our work.”

All stories on the website will now be available in both English and Russian, Nilsen reported. After a year without Russian-language articles, Nilsen called the re-launch “an important milestone” for the Independent Barents Observer., which concentrates on Norwegian news and commentary presented in English, is proud to promote and cooperate with The Independent Barents Observer.
