Rental rates in Oslo rose again from October to November, according to new figures from rental agency Utleiemegleren. It now costs an average NOK 8,645 a month (USD 1,235) to rent a one-room apartment in the Norwegian capital, up 1.5 percent from the prior month and up 5 percent from last year.
The survey showed that two-room apartments rented for an average NOK 11,448, while three-room apartments rented for NOK 14,285. The rise in rental rates for larger apartments was higher than for one-room flats.
Rental rates slipped in Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim, but not by much. Two-room apartments in the three other Norwegian cities rented for an average of NOK 11,711, NOK 11,357 and NOK 10,316 respectively, or around USD 1,500 per month.
