Sindre Finnes, husband of former Prime Minister Erna Solberg, is writing a book about life by Solberg’s side. Finnes and Solberg have been married for nearly 30 years, so he clearly has some stories to tell.
Finnes himself is characteristically mum about the project, telling newspaper VG and news bureau NTB that “I don’t have any big comments to make” after publishing company Aschehoug announced the book project last week.
Aschehoug, meanwhile, promises “new, startling information” about political scandals and battles for power. Finnes is known for his loyalty to Solberg and even won honours from her Conservative Party for his constant support for Solberg throughout her long political career. The couple has two children and Finnes took the most responsibility on the home front.
The book, entitled Ved Ernas side (By Erna’s side) is due out in October.
