Springtime in Norway’s capital

A recent spate of unseasonably warm weather has led to green trees and a burst of blossoms in Oslo. The bare branches from one of the longest and coldest winters in memory have been replaced by a blaze of glory, like here near the Oslo City Hall.  The building off to the left in the background is the Nobel Peace Center, close to Aker Brygge on Oslo’s inner harbour.
