Three people lost their lives in snowmobile accidents over the weekend. None of the accidents was related and they occurred from north to south.
A young woman driving a snowmobile at Sulitjelma in the northern county of Nordland was killed early Sunday afternoon when she lost control of it and crashed into a tree. The heavy snowmobile landed on top of her.
On Saturday an 18-year-old man from Åmli was killed in an accident at Reismyrfjellet in Aust-Agder in southern Norway. Earlier on Saturday, a 56-year-old man died after the snowmobile he was riding on turned over on him at Lund in Rogaland.
