A Norwegian flight attendant for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) was found dead in her hotel room in Copenhagen on Tuesday. Danish police believe she was murdered.
Newspaper Aftenposten reported that the 42-year-old mother of two teenagers had spent the night in Copenhagen because she was scheduled to work on an intercontinental SAS flight leaving from Copenhagen Tuesday evening.
Her body was found by a hotel maid Tuesday morning at the Radisson Blu hotel at Amager in Copenhagen. Police said she had been subject to a severe beating to her head and face.
They had no suspects as of Tuesday evening but were examining tape from security cameras at the hotel. Other guests staying at the hotel reported hearing noise from the victim’s hotel room around 8pm Monday night, and a woman’s scream.
The victim was married and lived in Lunner, in the Hadeland district of Oppland country.
