Another autumn storm rolled in from the North Sea on Wednesday and was bringing with it strong winds and heavy rain along the entire coast from Bergen to Trondheim.
State meteorologists posted warnings because of the strong winds and difficult driving conditions in the mountains. Snow was also falling at elevations over 1,000 meters.
Kristin Sæter of the state meteorological institute said the storm could be “quite strong” with winds due to increase throughout the day. A series of low-pressure systems were also lined up off the coast, so Thursday was expected to be stormy as well, with winds subsiding a bit Thursday afternoon.
