A 19-year-old man from Gudbrandsdalen, Oppland County, has been charged with the sexual assault of about 30 underage girls over a period of three years. Most of the victims were aged between 14 and 16, but several were under 14 years of age.
The man is charged with having sexual intercourse with minors, reports newspaper Aftenposten. Gudbransdal police prosecutor Lars Rune Ringvik says in most of the cases, the accused enticed the victims to let him photograph them with a webcam.
Police have raided the man’s home. He was taken into custody last Tuesday and released on Saturday. The lawyer for the accused has declined to comment.
