Police have arrested a man in Oslo and charged him with two attempted murders during the night. His victims were two women, found with critical stab wounds in an apartment in the capital’s Grünerløkka neighbourhood.
The women were reported to be in serious condition but no longer in danger of losing their lives. One of them was able to respond to questions from police Monday afternoon, reported state broadcaster NRK, and said their assailant was “closely related” to them.
Details remained sketchy but it’s not, Anne Solem Alræk of the Oslo Police District told NRK, a matter of partner violence. The man faced a custody hearing at the Oslo County Court on Tuesday.
