Publishing firm Bonnier Norsk Forlag will soon be adding to all the reports coming out about Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s oldest son, Marius Borg Høiby. He faces 32 criminal charges and the new book about him is entitled Ute av kontroll (Out of control).
Høiby himself claimed to worried police in 2023 that he had control over what they described as his problem with large quantities of cocaine. That’s come into question since, not least after he went on a rampage in a girlfriend’s home. He later admitted to being under the influence of narcotics.
Høiby and his lawyers are in the process of trying other stop another book about his ties to narcotics and drug dealers, entitled Hvite striper, sorte får (White lines, black sheep). His trial on 32 counts of rape, violence and other offenses is due to begin in early 2025.
